It’s often said that your car is the second most expensive thing you’ll buy in your lifetime, which explains why so many of us that share our hobby complain about how deep we have to dig to fund it. We all have our own ways of funding it; some of us work in offices, many of us fix other people’s pride and joys, and more than a few have their lavish lifestyles funded by the Bank of Mum & Dad. This isn’t such a problem for adult social media superstar Lexy Roxx. If you don’t know who she is, then have a quick Google. But make sure you’re not at work. Or with your mum. Famous for her bright red hair and matching C63, she’s not known for her subtlety or for hiding away. So what better than a wide-bodied and bewinged example of the newest model by nut job Italians, Lamborghini.
We’d heard rumours of Lexy’s collaboration with Kato San for a little while, and had found out a few days before our trip to Worthersee that both her and the brand new Huracan were going to be there at the same time as us. So, of course, we had to make something happen.
Driving down an Austrian highway at 9am on a Sunday morning with a Liberty Walk kitted Huracan and two (yep, two!) 991 GT3s, whilst hanging out the window of our bagged 8-Series at 120mph was a pretty surreal experience, but definitely worth the effort. The most realistic rendition of a Need for Speed game you’ll see. You can watch (and hear) the car in action in our teaser trailer over on our Facebook page, and you’ll be able to see a lot more when the full video drops.
The car is breathtaking. Jaw-droppingly beautiful, as angry as a very angry man with anger issues that’s just had his car impounded, but surprisingly subtle. Like Tyson Fury hitting you in the face with a pillow. As you’d expect, that Liberty Walk kit is millimetre perfect, and accentuates the lines of the car to perfection. If you didn’t know better, you’d be forgiven for thinking the car was a factory special edition. The weave on the pure carbon wing, diffuser and splitter, all done by the Wizards at RS Tuning, is one of the best we’ve come across, and the former is signed by none other than Kato San himself.
When it comes to the wheels on something so exquisite, nothing but the best will do. Enter R3 wheels, with four of their finest pieces automotive pornography. Measuring in at 20×9” up front and a frankly ludicrous 20×12.5” at the back, respectively shod in 245/30R20 and 305/30R20 Continentals, they make sure all 650+ bhp is transferred to the road without too much drama.
And the noise. Oh my god the noise. Keep an eye out for the full video to hear it in all it’s glory, but believe us when we tell you that hearing this in a tunnel is a trouser ruining experience. And Lexy definitely isn’t afraid to drive it properly, and utilises all 650+ ponies at every opportunity. The magicians at Fiberdynamix, a small German based fabricator of all things exhaust related, has made sure the Lambo sounds exactly like you’d expect; f*cking loud!
With the boys at Dumped being tasked with the build, and with only the best of the best being used on the car, it was always going to be sat on AccuAir. The twin compressor setup mounted in the front of the car is sublimely simple, but also perfectly executed, exactly as you’d expect with a car of this caliber. The game has just been upped, big time…
